SNAG Mobilization or Mulligan Concept For Neck Pain, Headaches and Dizziness

Stretching and exercise is an important part of our treatment protocol.  I am always searching for additional movements that can benefit my patients and you.  Recently I came across a video showing 2 simple moves called SNAG Mobilization or Mulligan Concept to help with neck pain, headaches, migraines and dizziness.

I created a video to demonstrate both of these moves to you.  The first one helps provide temporary relief of neck pain and cervicogenic headaches.  The second move can also help relieve neck pain but also dizziness or vertigo.

Watch the self mobilization techniques and try them yourselves by following me:

I must stress that if you feel pain while doing the SNAG mobilization to ease up and stop.  Inform your doctor.  These techniques will not fix the underlying cause of your pain, headaches or dizziness.  They are adjunctive techniques to help expedite a proper treatment plan so you can get better more quickly, provide temporary relief if you experience pain and best yet to help prevent and maintain joint motion.

If you would like to see our other full body spinal hygiene stretches and exercises, make sure to visit us at: Stretches for relief and recovery

We cover everything from basic stretching for low back pain, sciatica, neck pain, radiculopathy in the arms and hands, core stabilization, posture exercises, shoulder pain, ergonomics, foam rolling and much more.  Make your health and body a priority, do 5 to 10 minutes a day of these exercises and see how much better you feel in a short period of time.

Let us know if you try our different stretching techniques and how you like them.  Please share with family, friends and colleagues as so many people suffer and do not know what stretches to do or are doing improper form that might cause more harm than good.
