The holidays are a time of year many get to celebrate, enjoy great food, family and friends. Unfortunately there are many people who are cold and don’t have the food this winter season. Freehold chiropractor, Dr. Russell Brokstein, along with many members of the Association of NJ Chiropractors (ANJC) hold the annual “Baby It’s Cold Outside” food and coat drive.
Chiropractors that are members of the ANJC collect coats, hats, scarves, gloves and mittens to help those less
fortunate as winter cold weather approaches. Dr. Brokstein takes the yearly drive to another level by also collecting non-perishable food items to help his community.
“Baby, It’s Cold Outside”, is to help those less fortunate during the holiday and winter seasons. Dr. Brokstein will be starting the annual holiday food and coat drive on Thanksgiving and will collect donations of unwanted non-perishable food items or coats and clothing items in good condition.
Dr. Brokstein is participating in “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” for the 13th straight year of his practice. He states, “I opened my practice in the town I grew up in to not only help the community be more healthy naturally but to give back to the town I love. There
are so many people that need our help during the holidays and winter. People shouldn’t be cold and hungry so I decided to not only collect warm coats and clothing items but food so we can give a little gift for the holidays to others. Please help us help others so they can also enjoy this holiday season and stay warm this winter!”
As a gift of health to those that bring in at least 5 canned or boxed food items and/or coats will receive a certificate for a complimentary “Pain Relief and Health Consultation”
Dr. Brokstein food and coat drive is collecting for The Open Door and St. Peter’s Thrift Shop on Throckmorton in Freehold, NJ. We will be collecting new or gently used, clean winter items and food between now and Wednesday January 2nd, 2019 at the following address:
