The top-rated chiropractor in Freehold NJ sponsors “Baby It’s Cold Outside” Annual Holiday Food and Coat Drive for the 17th consecutive year
The holidays are here and it’s time to celebrate with family and friends. It’s also a time to help others during the difficult times of recession and cold, winter months. This is the 17th consecutive year of our Annual Holiday Food and Coat Drive, “Baby It’s Cold Outside.” to bring some cheer to those in need.
When the holidays approach and the cold weather sets in, Dr. Russell Brokstein collects coats, gloves, jackets and non-perishable food items to help his community. Dr. Brokstein opened Hometown Family Wellness Center over 17 years ago and has made “Baby It’s Cold Outside” an annual event to give back to the community he grew up in.
“Baby It’s Cold Outside” is to help those less fortunate during the holiday and winter season. Dr. Brokstein starts the annual holiday drive on Thanksgiving and will collect donations of non-perishable food items, coats and clothing items in good condition until December 31st.
Dr. Brokstein says, “I opened Hometown Family Wellness Center in the town I grew up in to help the community be healthier naturally and to give back to the town I love. So many people need our help during the holidays and winter. People shouldn’t be cold and hungry so I decided collecting warm coats and food would be a great gift for the holidays to others. Please help us help others enjoy this holiday season and stay warm this winter!
“Anybody that donates by bringing in at least 5 canned, boxed food items and/or coats will receive a a gift of health certificate for a complimentary “Pain Relief and Health Consultation” for themselves or somebody they care about. Dr. Brokstein says, “I want everybody to win so those donating will get the gift of health and pain relief in return for helping others. There are many people who also suffer with pain or looking for an answer to being healthy naturally. Chiropractic has so much to offer everybody!”
Dr. Brokstein brings all collected items to The Open Door and St. Peter’s Thrift Shop on Throckmorton in Freehold, NJ.
We will be collecting new or gently used, clean winter items and food until December 31, 2022 at the following address:
